Cage Sebastian Pierre is a multi-hyphenate artist and producer working across industries and continents. With origins in theatrical storytelling, he leverages his diverse background to create experiences that are worth remembering and returning to. Currently, he is the director of development for Berridge Programs, an international creative gap-year program dedicated to expanding the cultural and creative experiences of international students. With architecture and design group Open Architecture, he co-founded the event series Poetic Platforms an activation of Chicago's public parks and spaces that feature his original interactive installations, local vendors, and discourse on collective ownership. He also co-developed Room for Light, an immersive experience and additional revenue stream for Erasing the Distance, exploring the often unmentioned bright side of living with a mental health diagnosis. He is also a co-founder and member of OnixCage Studio, dedicated to using culturally and site-specific practices and stories to reclaim public and sacred spaces through installation and public activation.
