Room For Light
"Room for Light" by Erasing the Distance is an immersive art installation aimed at breaking stigmas and fostering community through storytelling. Hosted at medical health giant Blue Cross Blue Shield, this event combines creative portraiture with verbatim narratives, inviting participants to explore the beautiful, messy details of mental health diagnoses. It includes facilitated conversations, personal artifacts of the storytellers, and opportunities for group reflection to deepen understanding of living with a mental health diagnosis. 8x8 ft light boxes hold the portraits, and QR codes link to stories for individual listening.
